21 DEAD AND 22 WOUNDED FROM SOME NUT SHOOTING EVERYONE. SUCH CARNAGE AND GRIEF,I GUESS I AM NOT HAVING SUCH A BAD DAY AFTERALL

Count is up to 22 dead and 28 wounded.

This is insane....thoughts go out to all those involved.

Update:  32 confirmed dead and 28 injuries have been reported.  What a horrifying day.  By the way, I don't know if this is coincidence or what, but the Columbine shootings occured this week.

Now they're saying 31 dead.  So many lives lost and so many more forever changed!  From someone who has lost a child, I pray the families and friends can find peace and are able to learn how to live again somewhere down the road. We all at sometime complain about the "little" stuff.  Definately puts LIFE in perspective.  Appreciate everyone you love, you never know when you won't have the opportunity to tell them face to face.

niksfishinmom well said.  Isnt that the truth you just never know.  I dont think anyone will ever or can ever understand when something like this happens.  They will make a ton of excuses why it happened.  Theyll try to take useless measures to insure it dosent happen again, which are pointless.  My heart goes out to these people.

It is a sad day when something like this happens.  Why people who go off the deep end have to take others with them will be a mystery that may never be solved.   Those who have been wounded or have lost loved ones, will have millions praying for them, me included. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Being from VA, I know a lot of people who go to VaTech, thank God they are alright. This is awful. I've seen some reports that say he lined up people and shot them one by one. That would explain why the number of killed is greater than the number injured. Usually in shootings like this there are far more injuries than kills because of the chaos of the situation making it difficult for the shooter to hit anyone. If he actually did line them up, that would explain it. It would also be disgusting, it makes me cringe just thinking of it.

BTW, the last shooting was not a student, it was an escaped convict.

My prayers and thoughts to all those lost and their families...

I read on the news 31 died and 22 injured...plus they found the suspect dead at the scene, I guess the crazy nut killed/injured the students and then took his own life...

It's tragedies like this that make us look like an uncontrolled country and therefore that's why terrorists like Iraqis invade us and attack us.

And to think I may apply at VT in the next year or two...sheeesh! I would hate for this to happen to me if I go there!!  >

Yeah its terrible and crazy.  I know a number of people there now and I am going there next year. :-/  Definately going to make a big difference at Tech.  It's a shame there's people like that in this world.
