Just my luck I get to one of the greatest places in the world for Bass Fishing and I get deployed to Iraq FOR A YEAR PLUS!!!  >  oh well third time I have gone so nothing real new here

I am leaving for some training next week and after that I only have a few weeks to spend with my family and getting my "affairs" in order.

Needless to say I probably won't be posting much after the middle of next week.

It is only a matter of time before we go again. I know what you are going through. I am currently on my thrid rotation, and I will be going home soon. I can not wait, I miss my family and friends alot. I personally have had alot of support from family and my friends from the Bass Club in Washington. They sent alot of care packages to me. So I could pass them out to my Soldiers. When you get to Iraq, if you want to, send me a PM with your address and I will send some stuff to you if you would like. There have been alot of changes, so the living conditions are better. Then when I get back I have like only 90 days then I have to PCS to Ft. Leonardwood, Mo. Thanks for your service and stay motivated.

   You might not remember but, you sent me a lot of kind words and some wisdom when my son returned from Iraq after 18 months. Again, I thank you. He is doing pretty well. He still has some things to sort out but, all in all he is well. I just wanted to thank you for your words and I wanted you to know that my prayers are with you and your family during your deployment.
