I went today to a local tacklestore to buy some worms and i left with some lures and a big swimbait.. This mullet is supposed to be used for deep sea trolling for tuna, amberjack and swordfish, BUT i took it because i want to try it on......bass  ::)...

It is 8" long and there is a   1,20mm line threw its cross section, Also it has a split tail and split fins. How to rig it??

I'm curious how you rigged it. Can you post a pic?

That bait is made specifically for saltwater.  I guess you could catch a bass on it but your better off with something else.

In the 'lake' im going fishing, there are some saltwater grey mullets that have been adjusted to freshwater conditions.. I remember one time where a 1lb mullet was swimming at the surface and BOOM disappeared by a topwater strike in front of my eyes :).. No muskies or pike exist in that lake..only roach, bream, mullet, tilapia, carp and..BASS..So what the h*** i ll give it a try  ;)

That's how I would have rigged that bait Lavrax, great job. Hey HydrillaKilla, you're not throwin swimbaits yet?? I started throwing 6-8" baits last year and my next PB will be on a swimbait, and yes, here in Oklahoma. You fish Texhoma?.......that lake has swimbait written all over it.
