Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted January 12, 2007 Super User Posted January 12, 2007 Anybody have any tips on straightening bulk bought senkos??? They have been crammed into bags and probably set in a cold truck for the last few days and some of then are crooked. I was thinking to maybe boil them a little?? Quote
pipho Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I have heard to boil them for 15-20 seconds. Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 13, 2007 Super User Posted January 13, 2007 Boiling them -----> not a good idea Dipping one by one holding it with your fingers in very hot water for a few seconds and then dipping it in cold water, yes sir that 's the way to do it. Quote
KS_Bassin Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Hey KU are you talking about putting them in a pot of boiling water ? If so i dunno that might make them too soft and stick to each other and end up in a big mess. How about boiling some water and dipping them in till they loosen up and straighten out ? If u don't want to mess with the crocked ones just ship e to me ;D. Matt Quote
pipho Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Sorry that is what I ment Raul I read it on mattlures.com Quote

Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted January 13, 2007 Author Super User Posted January 13, 2007 OK, ***. Quote
Chris Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 GY don't sell them in bulk because they will not hold the flat straight shape if they where mashed in a bag. The problem your going to have if you just toss them in boiling water is that the salt will soak up the water and make them grow. Any other soft plastic that is not made with a heavy salt boiling them works great to fix them up. Quote
