Well there new ablum was going to be out yesterday. Well They delayed it who knows why. They said its been recored and its been playing on radios all over. So if its done and on the radio weres the album? I might buy this album if it comes out before next year. But Iam not looking at that happing any time soon. By the way this album has been in the works for the last ten years. I have read that so far it had cost them 13 million to make it. I guess thats a record for a album that hasn't been relased yet. So what are your thoughts on guns and roses? Also dose any one care any more about them?

"welcome to the jungle" is a kick @$$ song.

I dont know a lot of their songs, but the ones I know are awesome.

13 million dollar and 10 years to make an album. Must be a special album. When it does come out let me know I'll go take a peak at it at the music store. ;D

I really liked the original GNR until Axel turned into a A-hole. I never understood why he would want to ruin such a good thing. Even if they did not get along as individuals they clicked on stage and in the studio. Go figure. :)

Yea axel had better things to do then make millions of dollers. But you got to give it up to Slash and Scott Weilend. Both guys were out of work and teamed up. Now you have Velvet Revolver. If you have never heard them it sounds a lot like both guns and roses and stone temple pilots. I liked both of them bands but this is just awsome. The only thing that would be better is if metallica and slayer did a joint album.

Am not much of a Metal person but thought "Appetite for Destruction" was GREAT!! It was Axel's voice and everyone else's craftsmanship, the whole ball of wax.

I was sitting here thinking about this and remembered how much I liked ACDC, Uriah Heep (really old band) and a few others along that line. Maybe I need to rewrite the first half of that first sentence ;D.

This is from someone on the outside looking in (don't play an instrument let alone belong to a band). IMHO to do the things they do on stage, the fans and the adulation heaped on them, they would have to have HUGE ego's (not a bad thing in their cases). I don't see how bands in their catagory stay together as long as they do...

Did anyone hear them do the VanHalen song for the RNR Hall of Fame? Man Slash BLEW it!!!

I have to admit I like a few GNR songs, and Velvet Revolver is kind of catchy, but I don't own any of there stuff.

Did you guys know that it is actually "AXL" and he chose his stage name because if you rearrange the letters including "ROSE" you can get something dirty that is well...a mouth full.

It takes a long time to make an album when noone can get the singer out of his house, lol.  But at least they found him this time!

Plus, having 3/4 of the band members having to get back to rehab between songs,.....takes awhile :)

They would not have to go get me out of rehab for drugs LBH. They would have to come to the lake to get me where I have been seeing all those big smallmouth come from in California, you know, where fishchris caught those good ones. I would be the guy in the new 22 foot ranger with the 300hp Yamaha on back with the half a dozen girls in string bikinis on board. I would be the stupid looking one in the boat with the big smile on my face ! :P ;D :)

This album will be Guns 'n' Roses in name only.  Besides Axl, I believe most, if not all, of the rest of the band is gone.  Most of them are in Velvet Revolver as mentioned above.  I know he hired some pretty wicked guitarists to grace the album but I don't know which ones stuff will be on it.  Buckethead was playing with him for awhile.  I don't mean to offend anyone but Axl is psychotic.  That's why it's taken so long to make the album.  No one can stand to be around him for very long.

Yes, I think you are right LBH. Let me rephrase my first statement. If you ever see a 17' Grey Express Boat with a jet outboard and a dusty old bast*** with  a pot belly and five very big  women in the boat with him, thats me. But hey, I will still be grinnin  :P ;D :)

P.S.- I gotta cut back on my beer intake. :o

If I could have only one album to listen to for the rest of my life, it would without a doubt be Appetite for Destruction. If Axl hadn't blew it, G n' R could have been the greatest rock and roll band of all time.
