My pet Bearded Dragon full grown (about foot and a half long) wants a "freind". My cage is not big enough to support 2 grown Bearded Dragons. I love my lizard very much but I never take him out because im busy and i think he is becoming lonely. Is there any other species of lizard that he wont eat eat(My lizard looks like he would try to eat anything that moves) If any one knows how big my cage should be to support 2 grown lizards that would be nice. Im going to do some research after i post this but i just want to know your guys thoughts.

p.s. i know my writting skills are bad but jusyt deal with me please.

I see him "head bobbing" every day I wonder if female lizards are attracted to him :-?

Looks like I need a 80gallon tank (8 square feet) to support 2 adult sized dragons. Right now my 50galon tank I have for Hunter takes up more then half my room  :-/ Maybe they can be "alone" and ill just have to sleep on the sofa for the rest of there years.

Beardies will usually attack the smaller lizards you put in with them. I say usually, because some are just wierd. They are very social reptiles, though. I'd look into the reptile terrariums. You can get the net-style ones pretty cheap, however if you have a colder house I wouldn't suggest those.

I'd say just watch the local classifieds and yard sales for someone unloading a cheap larger aquarium and pick him up a lady friend.

Btw, be glad you don't have an Iguana. Mine not only had a large cage, but he literally took over our bedroom. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night with a 4 foot iguana cuddled up with you. I thought he was adorable, my wife not so much....

Get him a puppy! ;D

Haha. Well that is a sweet looking dragon. You should set up plastic knights around his tank and let him destory them. But that can be a bad idea if he swallows plastic things.  :-/

Dude, i dont mean to come off as a @$$hole, but if you have time to take pictures of him, upload them, and get on the forum, then you DEFINITLY have time to take him out in the yard/grass/dirt for 20-30 minutes a day. I'm not the one to be preaching this (cuz im bad about it to!) but if you manage your time a little better, you'll realize that there IS time for your lizard.

Also, if you live in an area with a Craigslists site, get on it to look for the aquarium, theres a BUNCH where i live on there all the time

Good Luck

other,

As you can see I deleted my post and I sincerely apologize if I offended your sensibilities :-[.

I appreciate being included in such august company as LBH. Thanks for the compliment also, at my age they come few and far between, even if they come "thru the back door".........

I'll inflict myself on you no longer :-/
