I love my lizard very much but I never take him out because im busy and i think he is becoming lonely. Is there any other species of lizard that he wont eat eat(My lizard looks like he would try to eat anything that moves) If any one knows how big my cage should be to support 2 grown lizards that would be nice. Im going to do some research after i post this but i just want to know your guys thoughts. p.s. i know my writting skills are bad but jusyt deal with me please. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Why not get him one of these they are a lot of fun. The one in the middle that is : Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Looks like someone still wants to play..... How about just getting a larger tank and another bearded? Quote
Other. Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 I have not seen any any yet ;D But who knows one day i might be surprised : I see him "head bobbing" every day I wonder if female lizards are attracted to him :-? Quote
Water Dog Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 My dog takes me on a couple of walks every day, maybe that's all that he needs. You know get out and see the world, catch a bug.... ;D Quote
tipptruck1 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Heck I would take him for a walk. I think the rich stuck ups up here would have a heart attack. Quote
Other. Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 Looks like I need a 80gallon tank (8 square feet) to support 2 adult sized dragons. Right now my 50galon tank I have for Hunter takes up more then half my room :-/ Maybe they can be "alone" and ill just have to sleep on the sofa for the rest of there years. Quote
GSxTC Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Beardies will usually attack the smaller lizards you put in with them. I say usually, because some are just wierd. They are very social reptiles, though. I'd look into the reptile terrariums. You can get the net-style ones pretty cheap, however if you have a colder house I wouldn't suggest those. I'd say just watch the local classifieds and yard sales for someone unloading a cheap larger aquarium and pick him up a lady friend. Btw, be glad you don't have an Iguana. Mine not only had a large cage, but he literally took over our bedroom. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night with a 4 foot iguana cuddled up with you. I thought he was adorable, my wife not so much.... Quote
Other. Posted March 4, 2007 Author Posted March 4, 2007 Im just posting some pictures of him, im bored. Just showing you how big he is (My BPS receit is 2 feet long) Gahhh just noticed my feet were in the picture, ohwell. I took alot of other pictures but it was arround 4:00pm and he was closing his eyes to go to sleep so all the pictures his eyes are almost shut Quote
Super User Root beer Posted March 5, 2007 Super User Posted March 5, 2007 Get him a puppy! ;D Haha. Well that is a sweet looking dragon. You should set up plastic knights around his tank and let him destory them. But that can be a bad idea if he swallows plastic things. :-/ Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted March 5, 2007 Super User Posted March 5, 2007 Why not get him one of these they are a lot of fun. The one in the middle that is : I dunno Muddy, I hear those are pretty high maintenance...... ;D Quote
JiggaMan512 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Dude, i dont mean to come off as a @$$hole, but if you have time to take pictures of him, upload them, and get on the forum, then you DEFINITLY have time to take him out in the yard/grass/dirt for 20-30 minutes a day. I'm not the one to be preaching this (cuz im bad about it to!) but if you manage your time a little better, you'll realize that there IS time for your lizard. Also, if you live in an area with a Craigslists site, get on it to look for the aquarium, theres a BUNCH where i live on there all the time Good Luck Quote
