tipptruck1 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Monday night I was trying to sleep and felt a sharp poke in my ribs. So the next day I ask my grandma how old my bed was. She said like 8 years. Well later that night she like were going to go get you a new bed. Iam thinking why my bed aint that old shes like after you said some thing she looked at my bed and it looked more flat. So that night i picked out a serta temper pedick with a pillow top. Man Thats is one nice bed. I don't think I have woken up once all night. Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 This is gonna sound wierd but "Congrats on your new bed"! Getting a new bed can be heaven. I was amazed at how much better I slept when we got a new one. And how much better I felt through the day. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 I know what you mean by how munch better I fell while iam awake. I use to need a nap in the afternoon even if I got like 8 hours of sleep. Now the only time I need a nap is when I work hard. Quote
Tom Bass Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Tipptruck, A new bed is bliss. 8-) Good for you. I bought one of those Select Comfort sleep number beds 2 years ago and I have never slept better. A good night's sleep is priceless. Your body and mind work better with good rest. Quote

Dude, Sleep Number's rock!! They are a little more expensive, but worth every penny. I have three slipped disc's and sciatic pain in my hips. It got until I couldn't sleep. . . not anymore. I'll never go back to an inner-spring mattress. Quote
Live.2.Fish Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Tempur-Pedic Here, Absolutely the best bed i've slept on. I too will never go back to intersprings. Quote
Fisher of Men Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Live 2 fish- We tried the tempur-pedic, but felt constricted as I lay there. I felt like I was laying in a plaster of paris mold. I'm sure it would be very comfortable, but wasn't for us. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 27, 2007 Super User Posted February 27, 2007 I've wondered that about temperpedic - thanks for the info! Quote
Live.2.Fish Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I agree that you are in somewhat of a "mold" when you lay on it. But that is why I like it, I sleep on my side and the visco-elastic memory cells keep my spine inline. For me, my sleep number was low, so it felt like I was sleeping on a water bed. We own a Furniture store, where we sell Tempur-Pedic aswell as many others. IMO they are the best bed out there, if you ever get a chance to try out their "Grand Bed" its unreal. Oh by the way it will run you about $7k for a king. But seriously, Tempur-Pedic offers a bed for anyones price range. Just my $.02 Quote
