Last night the forum was in Maintenence Mode, and I'm just wondering what was getting updated/fixed/added. As far as I can see, there isn't any changes to the forums or the home site, but I could have missed somthing.

Thanks in advance

Sometimes they mods just have to go through and clean up the "junk" that slows down the bandwidth, or even do a virus scan.  There's lots of things that could be done without you ever noticing them, but they still need to be done to keep the site moving along properly.  Think of it as tuning up your car, you may not see anything new, but the performance is deffinately enhanced.

That's about it.  I do routine maintenance on the forums and server.  Sometimes I need to put the forums in maintenance mode in order to do some "server stuff", and other times I just have forum maintenance routines I need to do that require placing the forums in "maintenance mode" in order to perform them.

Usually I do them very late at night, so that it impacts as few people as possible, but the server and forums were acting up yesterday and I needed to do them earlier.

Many people aren't aware but Glenn also is in product development and has made a splicing converter that allows bandwidth capabilities to remain balanced whether i'ts a left handed or right handed shifter. Nice stuff.

Also, unlike any other site out there, we have dual, balanced, harmonic immersion invertors.  These run with almost 5.5 farad of back up.

THANKS BOSS!! SWEEET!
