Super User Dan: Posted February 14, 2007 Super User Posted February 14, 2007 It's sad that she died and all, but why are they still talking about it on the news?!?! She wasn't THAT famous but she's getting more attention than freakin' Gerald Ford! And he was a PRESIDENT!!! I'm getting really sick of hearing all this speculation about who the father of her baby is. Why is that news!?!? Why do people care?!?! It's ridiculous. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Correct c312 im outta this YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE MONEY Quote
CJ Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Nobody has claimed her body as of 6:30a today. That's pretty sad. There all to busy trying to claim her child.Afterall that's where the money goes isn't it? I think her death has been sad.People should show more respect for one who has passed on.Even if what she did in the past was wrong,it is tragic that she will not get the chance to defend herself or make any of the wrong right. We only see what TV wants us to see.In every celeb there is a person. Did you show respect when Jeffrey Dahmer got killed in prison? Were you also sad for that? She was a nobody, besides a playboy playmate of the year. Sorry, that's the facts. She did it to herself. cabela10 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 CJ, what kind of respect are you talking about? Should I lower the flag to half staff? Should I have a 5 minute moment of silence for A.N.S.? Should all sports have a moment of silence for her? What kind of respect are you talking about that she hasn't already gotten? I was shocked and surprised that she dead, and said it sucked, but that's as far as my respect for her goes. Quote

Water Dog Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I pity the poor child. I'll quote myself, The child may be better off. I heard this morning on the radio, and we know everything is true on the radio, just joking, before somebody fires back, anyway I don't have the source of the quote so it's iffy but plausible. The quote: "Anna Nicole had her nanny reduce the formula from 3 oz. to 2 1/2 oz. because she wanted her daughter to be sexy" Anna Nicole's cousin was on there, claimed to be anyway, and said that, "Anna Nicole was wild as a young women and simply got out of hand", and that, "her parents couldn't do anything with her". The guy interviewing him said, "I thought that she had been molested as a child, by the parents?" He said that, "it didn't happen", "that Anna Nicole had made it up because she knew that she would get sympathy from the press who would be constantly writing about it". He said that, "Anna Nicole's mother was a good Christian person". He said that Anna Nicole's parents were working people who would like to raise the child but didn't have the money to fight the case in court. The man was believable but who's to know. The child will likely be raised by a nanny and she may be better off without Anna Nicole's influence, not that Howard Stern is a good influence. It's a shame that celebrities are glorified and idolized to the extent that they are. For the most part they would be better off if they would just, "Shut Up and Sing" or whatever their talent is. Fish Man Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 i dont mean to sound like a jerk but i believe that her death is highly overrated of cousre it is sad that she died an that her son had died also but when any ordinary person dies there is no week of television to talk about them and ponder about how/why he/she died. an if anything it is a pity and goes to show jus how corrupt we have become when we worrry more about who gets the persons money or who gets to bury her or accusing peaple instead of morning that persons death she was a persaon not an object Quote
lunchbox508 Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 i think this forum should end. but since it is not going to i will throw my 2 cents in. I feel sorry for her because it is hard for anybody to battle anytype of addiction from drugs to shopping but still like it was said behind every celeb there is a person. It is sad whenever anyone dies and i also pray for her soul. Addiction is tough i havent been addicted personally but my dad was addicted to drugs for many years and has even payed time in prison for it missing out on my childhood, I have seen the effects of it and wish it on not even my worst enemy but my dad has now risen above his addiction to many different drugs and is living a good life. like i said i am with muddy and pray for her soul. Water Dog Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Fellas I hate to see people become addicted to drugs or alcohol, gambling or anything else. What a waste and heartache for everyone involved. I had an Uncle who drank beer, became an alcoholic and had a series of strokes and died after six years of wasting away in a VA hospital. It was awful, but you know, it didn't keep me from drinking and almost killing myself and maybe others. I got lucky and finally grew up without getting addicted. I had a female cousin who went down the same road as Anna Nicole, following that TV, movie star wanna be celebrity role with not quite the same body or talent. She is now in her 50tys, looks as old as her mother and may have to be institutionalized when her mother passes. We make our own bed and then we have to lie in it. Nobody can out smart drugs, please leave them alone! Girls will think that you are much more handsome without the beer. Quote
Guest avid Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Let's face. Celebrity is by definition a status reserved for people we celebrate, talk about, trash, talk about, pay to see, talk about, imitate, and talk about. They are not role models for decency. They are exciting people who live lives us regular folk can never relate to. That's why they are so fascinating. I saw an interview with Anna Niclole regarding her mother. Now I'm not saying her mother wasn't a "Christian woman" what I am saying is that Anna Niclole's intense hatred of her mother was so real you could touch it. She swore "that woman will never touch my baby" and believe me, she meant it. Quote
