Vyron Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 either matt lures tilapia or real tilapia Quote
CyBasser Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Quote either matt lures tilapia or real tilapia The above. Plus, Rapala DT series or Rattlin' Rapala in "bluegill" color. Or, if you are lucky and you have any, the now discontinued Cabela's Livin'Eye Spinnerbaits in "Perch" color. The ting when retrieved gives the exact color impression of a Tilapia. Vyron can confirm that, he once saw how succesful the particular s/b was on a reservoir with lots of tilapia... Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 12, 2007 Super User Posted January 12, 2007 Well, down here in my neck of the woods the most abundant food source for bass is tilapia, what do I fish with ? the same cranks, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits and worms you fish with there, see, you don 't have to follow that "meet the hatch" mentality, I fish with trout patterned baits and bass here have never seen nor will ever see a trout.
