John J. Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 14 degrees and 20 " of snow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love N.E. Ohio. 20"? wow... We got mainly ice...it rained and hailed all last night...we've got maybe an inch or so of ICE! Needless to say.... [move]THERE'S NO SCHOOL AGAIN! [/move] 8-) I don't know the degrees, but it is really chilly! We are expecting gusts of wind up to 20-30 mph today! Rough week!! > Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 14, 2007 Super User Posted February 14, 2007 Just think, in a month or three you should be able to get on the water. We had a taste of spring yesterday. High was 59* (although I slept through most of it), was still 40* at midnight. Now it's 25*, the ground is snow covered, and the wind is 15-20 out of the NW. Counting down the days till Varner in late April. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted February 14, 2007 Super User Posted February 14, 2007 WOW, you got 20"? I thought we had a problem with 10". You're not that far from S.E. Michigan, it's amazing you got that much more. Good luck, Falcon Quote
BASS fisherman Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I dont mind the snow at all, it's the 2 inches of ice I cleaned off my car this morning that worries me. Main roads were just wet and some slush. The secondary roads don't look as though they have even been touched. I gotta go home in a bit, and I gotta go up 3 steep, icey hills. I can't wait. Quote
Water Dog Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 That's funny, no global warming news articles today. We are not as bad off as y'all here in the sunny South. Only 8* on the wind chill. Quote
TI_Bassin Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 20" not bad not bad, I live in the top of the snow belt here in upstate New York. We don't have the 10' that they were talking about in the news if you herd about but we have 3' on the ground and it's snowing right now. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Yesterday, our world turned to slush, then it poured all day, then it dropped to 4 degrees. I'm going skating in the front yard, lol. Now NY,....THEY'VE had somthing to gripe about. 3-8 FEET of snow. Quote
Water Dog Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 We are thankful that we didn't get the snow at least at the 2000' elevations in WNC, 12* not counting wind chill. 6000' elevations likely got some snow. Quote
