preach4bass Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I happened to be riding in the car in time to catch the first couple of segments of a regional sports show for North and South Carolina this afternoon. I expected to hear the guys talking about yesterday's Super Bowl, but I guess I forgot for a minute where I live. I live in the middle of ACC country! The first 20 minutes of the show were about ACC basketball, with the exception of about a minute of ACC football talk and a minute of saying, "We'll get to the Super Bowl later." The three most talked about topics were: 1. NC State beating Carolina 2. Florida State beating Duke 3. Wednesday's Duke vs. Carolina game I enjoyed the Super Bowl, but I'm glad it's over with. Now it's all ACC basketball until April! I love living in North Carolina. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted February 6, 2007 Super User Posted February 6, 2007 Go Heels! Man I'm glad that football junk is over! Quote
tipptruck1 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Man I cant stand basketball. I would rather stick a sharp stick in my eye then watch basketball. Iam a big football fan and all ready miss football. But I still have hockey. That will hold me over intill nascar and baseball start. Only six more months intill nfl tranning camp starts. Quote
bassmasta7 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Im ready for some college hoops, baseball, nascar, and fishing. It needs to get warmer. Nascar kind of starts this weekend with the Bud Shootout at Daytona on Saturday night. WOOOOOOHOOOOO!! Quote
preach4bass Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 But I still have hockey. Is that a sport in the US? I thought that was just a Canadian thing ;D Just kidding, I watched the Carolina Hurricanes win the Stanley Cup last year. All of us Carolina, Duke, and State fans hopped on the hockey banwaggon to pull for the Canes. But, it's ACC basketball time now! Quote
