boondocks Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I looked out my window this morning and saw a bright, almost yellowish orb in the east, what the heck was that thing? :-? Quote
BucketmouthAngler13 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Well it couldn't be the sun, becuase the sun isn't yellowish, it doesnt orb: we orbit around the sun, and the sun rises in the North-East-East Quote
Panamoka_Bassin Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 To heck with the big yellow thing, what about all that white stuff on my lawn? Its been quite some time since that's been here...almost 2 years! Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 LBH Was Mooning you Probably so ;D Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 LBH Was Mooning you Only if it was standing on the hood of a brown truck hood surfing at 85 mph. LOL Quote
chitwnbass Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Last time I checked the sun was an "ORB". Its a spherical object isn't it? And the suns color is infact "YELLOW" spectral class G2V is in the yellow end of the sprectrum last time I checked. And actually during winter in the northern hemisphere the sun actually rises in the Southeast-East not the "Northeast-East". After that quick lesson in solar physics I guess you could assume it was the sun but the most likely explaniton of what you saw had to be LBH's FULL MOON. ;D ;D ;D Quote
