Siebert Outdoors Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I'll drink to that. LOL but it will probably be out of a bottle. Hmmm I might still have some cans with Budweiser in them. Who canned the first beer? Quote

BassPonder72 Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 I'm not sure about the salt on soft plastics but, on the lip of a beer can it rocks! Anyone else a fan of the salted beer? I know a lot of us here in NC are pretty adamant about salting our beer cans. Quote

Though I haven't done it with a can, per se, I have seen it done with a pint glass (like a margarita) and then some people will add tobasco or another hot sauce. I've also seen people put jalapenos in the neck. There are names for these, but they escape me at the moment. Quote

BassPonder72 Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 Maybe its a southern thang? Quote

Some dump it in some salt the can etc. I'm not a fan of the salt in the beer but I also like dark beer. Those light beers are weaker then koolaid. If I drink a beer I want that punch of a good beer taste. One of my new found favorites is Schlafly's oatmeal stout. Quote
