BucketmouthAngler13 Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Well, its too cold to go out to the lake (19 degress when i woke up) but I have my ways of fighting cabin fever.... Click to watch. That wopper was 17" and fought like a shark. He jumped 3 or 4 times, and when I released him the water level in the lake went up 3 inches LOL. (notice i pratice catch and release even when playing video games ) He was cought on a chartruse popper. I saw him holding to the structure, and tried to get him on a spook. (Whoever said topwater doesn't work in the winter doesnt know what they are talking about, lol) Oh, and at the end of the video, i couldn't help but show off my fashionable T-shirt. I swear that BassResource.com shirt has more mojo in it than a budda priest's ear wax, even if it is a videogame. ;D Fishing on the Nintendo Wii is great practice for baitcasting. I've played for hours and havn't gotten a single backlash yet! Matt Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 lol, good stuff. You need to tighten that drag or you're gonna twist the begeezus out of that line! Quote
Troutfisher Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Ha, the new Zelda game for Wii! I've been wanting to play that...is the fishing as good as the N-64 Zelda game? I can't believe they left fishing out of Majora's Mask > Oh well. Looks like you're doin' a good job slayin' 'em! Quote

You can use a spook, buzz, or popper. (and hook and bobber) you can also unlock crankbaits, but i'm not that far yet. My PB for bass is 20" and for pike is 30" Quote
John J. Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I clicked on the screen and it popped up a new window where the video should be and I even kept the link on the screen and walked away for a little while and it still didn't show??? Does it require a certain player?? I would like to watch... God bless 8-) Quote
Valascus Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Boy, that is an awesome looking game. Video games is generally how I spend my winter times. Can't stand the cold so I spend a lot of time indoors. I almost bought a Wii for Christmas, but ended up blowing every cent I had on fishing gear. Oh well. I'll get one at some point. Quote

I tried to upload it with a differnt server for you, but imageshack wouldn't exept the file format. It isn't anything really speacal, just a video me catching a big bass, and that happens all the time ;D Quote

I've got a bass fishing game for x-box Rapala's Pro Bass Fishing game. It's pretty neat, biggest bass I caught on it was 10 pounds and I caught it out of Florida on a frog colored skitter pop. I think I've got Macromedia Flash Player...hmmm will have to check the computer... God bless 8-) Quote
BucketmouthAngler13 Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 The graphics for LoZ:TP (the game im playing in the video) are not very good and the Wii can do much better. This game was made for the Gamecube, but as the Wii was released they released it for bolth. This hinders the graphics, and truth to be told they are only a little better then some GC games. But IGN gave it a 9 out of 10 and said it was the best laungh title of all time. Its a amazing game, and it has fishing in it, so i'm not complaining. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 18, 2007 Super User Posted January 18, 2007 Great way to beat cabin fever, keep practicing with that baitcaster... Quote
Captain Cali Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 My girlfriends brother has been raving about that game, especially the fishing. I have to admit, I didn't think it would look that good. I thought it would be some lame side game but when I first saw your video, I thought it was a game all by itself. Too bad I'm not into video games like I once was... Quote
WhiteMike1018 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 ROFL added to favorites! Wow Matt, good stuff Quote
