tommy Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 i tried out a spro bronzeye jr. frog, wasnt impressed...could never get it to turn sideways, it just looked straight at me and hopped straight forward (when it didnt sink)...i shortened one leg skirt, didnt help, added a split ring, didnt help...is there more mods i can try, did i get a bad one, is the spro overrated? im not up on all the brands, so if theres a better offering im all ears... Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted April 24, 2008 Super User Posted April 24, 2008 One thing is to shorten both skirts a little. It creates less "drag" and will walk easier. Other than that its all in the wrist and takes a little practice.Dont expect a dramatic sideways turn like a sammy or spook. It isnt made to walk quite like that. This frog still catches quite well when hopped forward with pauses in between also.Used to hate it,then I got used to it and it works pretty nice. Quote
