Top Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Well I am back, SORTA, still homeless but staying at the post lodging in Fort Stewart as I type this, Made the 1k trip with the wife, two daughters AND the Siberian Husky (also a female!). we brought two vehicles, I drove the 95 Cavalier with the wife drive the 04 Jeep so my drive was OK and hers was MUCH nicer hahahaha. She doesn't like driving in traffic so going thru Nashville during rush hour as well as Atlanta was a real acheivement for here even and I am very proud of her even though I swear my bumper has an imprint of her license plate because she was following so close thru those towns! hahahahahah It only took 2 days and the first night in Hinesville was a real exercise in Patience as I had a VERY HARD time finding a place that is "pet friendly" especially to a Husky as anyone that has one knows how they shed ALL the time hahahaha. Lets just say if any of you ever decide to stay over night in Hinesville do NOT stay at the Sunset Inn *shaking head* what a dive. Anyways we are here safe and sound and looking forward to HOPEFULLY signing for quarters next week. thanks for all the prayers and well wishes for this trip, because of them this trip went by quite smoothly and I still have some of my hair left. I am off now on a 4 day weekend so we decided to go to Tybee Island today and all I can say is WOW!!! I can't WAIT for my fishing equipment so I can hit the waters.... AL Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Glad all is well, time to settle in. See any decent looking water nearby? Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted January 14, 2007 Super User Posted January 14, 2007 That's great to here. Let me know when you get settled and we'll start planning your trip to Lake Varner. Quote
justfishin Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Glad your trip was safe. Now, back to some some structure in your life. As I always say, one door shuts and another one opens. Good luck and I hope you and your family find happiness there, as well as, some good fishing water. Quote
