Siebert Outdoors Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I know some sites have affiliates that when you purchase from them the website/owner gets a percentage of the sale to that company. The reason for asking is 2 questions. 1. If you have this feature I will order from the banners for BPS stuff and all of us could contribute to Glenn if we did this. 2. What are all of the sites affiliates. I know of a few when I see the banners but if I'm to slow I miss them. Is there a listing anywhere of them? I've looked but cant seem to find them. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 6, 2007 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 6, 2007 The only banner that works that way on this site is the Bass Pro Shops banner. Also, just to clarify, the percentage of the sale doesn't go to me, it goes to the site to help pay for expenses. Quote

Super User flechero Posted January 6, 2007 Super User Posted January 6, 2007 Raul and RW just got done placing their '07 order,......we're good till about August ;D ;D ;D ;D How true!! What are all of the sites affiliates. I know of a few when I see the banners but if I'm to slow I miss them. Is there a listing anywhere of them? I've looked but cant seem to find them. Amen! I suggested some time back that on the "links" tab above, we (meaning Glenn or Mods) add another selection called "SPONSORS". We all buy so much stuff on-line that we could make a big impact. As a group, we spend tens of thousands, maybe even 100's of thousands of dollars. Supporting those that support this site would be a natural place for my discretionary spending. And honestly, I only know 1 or 2 sponsors from the banners I'd rather spend my money with sponsors but with the random banners, I could spend all day looking for stuff on my list as the banners pop up. So I usually just buy from a few places (some of which are not sponsors) out of convenience/lazyness. Quote
