RottManK9 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Let's see....I gave my wife a hard time  ;D.  No for real I gave her some smell good stuff, she was about out of all the ones she liked so she now has another year supply!  Some candles and stuff. Kids got SPOILED (as it should be)  They got one of everything I think, RC monster trucks, video games, Star Wars stuff.  My oldest got one of thoes FLY pens that knows what you write and helps you with your home work, and stuff.  Both got MP3 Video players.  GEZZZ no wonder why I'm broke! I got a 10 in compound miter saw!  and a wind up mantle clock!!!  I've wanted a wind up clock ever since I was a little feller!  It so cool hearing it chime all day. But would you believe I didn't get a single fishing item.  NOT EVEN ONE.  I must have been bad this year! Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas. Congrats Rattlinrougue on the new coaching job and good luck. I got some nice stocking stuffer flyfishing stuff, bobbins, glue, floatant, etc. Â and spending time with wife and little girl. Â The two best things at the top of the list was first, a book "from my little girl". Â Last year my wife gave me book that she had made "to daddy from Anna" that had pictures and notes in it from my little girl and me together. Â It made me cry and not ashamed to admit it. Â This year she gave me another book that was even better - more pictures and captions (from snapfish.com). Â I treasure these two books. Â The top of the list though was watching my 2-yr-old little girl see the gifts Santa had brought. Â She was grinning from ear-to-ear. Â I will never forget that. Â Was a great day. Merry Christmas to all. Eddie Quote
Fisher of Men Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Yeah, Eddie, that "Santa Smile" is hard to beat. Â Wait 'til she gets a little older and it will be preceded by a loud shrill scream. Â It makes it all worth it. Â Quote
