New BPS Fishing Catalog (baitmonkey is callling)

I just got the new BPS 2007 Fishing catalog in the mail yesterday. The baitmonkey is screeching pretty loud in my ear. Fortunately for me, BPS is only about 30 minutes away; this may not be so fortunate for my pocketbook. :'(

P.S. Am I the only guy whose wife assumes I need to go to that "little room" when she walks in with the mail and hands me a new fishing catalog/magazine? Hmmm, I wonder why she assumes that? :-[

Yea BPS and Cabelas get them to us just beofre our W-2's come at years end. They want to help us with our tax rteturns

I got my BPS catolog on Tuesday.  Still haven't got the Cabelas catalog yet.

Cabelas didnt get them out yet, I think I went on their site they only have 2006 catalogs listed

Yeah, I got mine the other day. It is massive indeed. When my wife caught glimpse of it she just shook her head, grabbed it, and started flipping through it. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was flippin' through it trying to gauge how much damage was gong to be done. ;D

Anything particular in the catalog that has caught your eye yet? I've been looking at the new Pro Qualifier spinning reels and also the Extreme spinning reels.

The new Johnny Morris Elite casting rods look sweet too.....kinda limited on sizes & powers though.

Oh yeah,almost forgot the new David Fritts crankin' reels....they went from 4 bearings in 2006 to 8 bearings in the new models.

I was surprised the Advent casting reel wasnt in the catalog, especially being a fellow Miss. company.  Also that U.S. Reel Supercaster spinnning reel wasnt there either.  Great advances in the in house brand spinning reels though.
