Low_Budget_Hooker Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Dirk is a real tailgate-r. He has under 70k on his year and a half old truck and the lenses look like they were sandblasted. Will that stuff work on those? His wife called asking for stocking stuffer suggestions. Quote
RatONaStick Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Russ If those headlights are pitted real bad there isn't anything you can do with them except get a new pair of them. The stuff NEBassMan mentioned works good but will only remove the cloudy stains from the lenses. I never quite understood why Ford would use a plastic lens on their headlight assemblies. :-? Quote
NEBassMan Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 with the pitted ones Russ, you can wet sand them, buff and polish, but it's gonna take a long time and a lot of sand paper. You'll be up past 2000 grit to make them like new again. Be better off getting new ones. I suppose it would depend on how big the stocking is to fit new headlights in there ;D Jason Quote
NEBassMan Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 and just because i'm a stang man...here's my old Nebraska Highway Patrol Coupe and one after i put the Cobra R hood on it Quote
