Goin to Cabelas who wants to meet up

Hey fellas I see on a few Cabelas posts that a lot of guys go to the Cabelas in Hamburg PA why not have a day some us us meet there they have coffe and a resturant and it would be a good winters day. Meet some new friends, feed the Monkey and Me < Ron and possibly Zel can tell you guys about our upcoming CAST event in Sept at Beltsville

As much as I hate Cabella's, and all the stuff they sell, I will do it for the CAST kids. Post the date & time as soon as you can so I can make plans. It will be great to meet some more board guys. Unless the date is impossible, I'm in. It's only 130 miles, if it's not too cold I'll ride the motorcycle. LOL

Ill go if I can get the day off work - weekdays are best. I live in Binghamton NY so that cant be too far away. Besides, I haven't been to a Cabelas or a BassProShop (I know, Im deprived) so I would love it.

Is that the one about half hour to forty minutes past Harrisburg PA ? If it is and I am not at the hospital on shift that would be great. Its just going to be hard to go across the 81N bridge that goes over the Susquehanna without my boat !!! Post a time or date and I would try to make it.

 I used to hate Cabelas as well until I went to one above Harrisburg PA. Pretty amazing. Not just for fishing but, if you are a gun buff like me those antique guns are something to see. I saw a price tag on one that if I remember right was around 40 grand, I think it was a Sharps. Pretty cool stuff. I hope you are not on the bike today !!! It is 18 at my house. My buddy called last night and cancelled our fishing this morning on the Upper Potomoc which is just down the street from me. He said he was too old for this morning and I seconded the motion. Why is it colder when you get over 50 !!!!

I was being sarcastic about hating Cabella's. It was another vain attempt at humor. In fact I love the big chain sporting goods stores, heck I've never seen a sporting goods store I didn't like. Grown man's Toys R Us. LOL

I'm not sure why it's colder at 50, but I am convinced it's true.

I'd like to meet you guys also. I live in Williamsport, PA, which isn't to far away from Hamburg (couple hrs.) Let me know when you are going to try and do it. Is it a guy only thing or can we bring the wife? (she likes to shop anywhere ) Plus I already know I'm getting a gift certificate to Cabelas 8-)
