Hula Popper Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Check out these two incredible punt returns by Joe Washington. One against OSU and the other against USC. Versus OSU--http://youtube.com/watch?v=AocfL-BkJhQ Versus USC--http://youtube.com/watch?v=U1Ms_37TWBI&mode=related&search= Quote
Captain Underpants Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Aw, he just got lucky. Nothing to brag about. And as Sooners are so "____award" or "____ Hall of Fame" oriented, why is a guy this lucky not famous? You Sooners really need him. Quote
Hula Popper Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 Why is a guy this lucky not famous? Not famous. You've never heard of Joe Washington? Little Joe? Come on, this guy is better than any Oklahoma State player ever except maybe Barry Sanders. BTW, 27-21 Boomer Sooner Quote
Super User Dan: Posted November 29, 2006 Super User Posted November 29, 2006 the first one was ok, the second one was amazing, but he should still get yelled at for running backwards so far....that was just dumb. and there is no chance that Barry Sanders is "maybe" more famous, he is WAY more famous. Hula Popper Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 There is no chance that Barry Sanders is "maybe" more famous, he is WAY more famous. I didn't say he was maybe more famous, I said he was maybe a better player. He is definitely more famous, and probably a better player. My point is, Washington is not in the top five of the best OU players, but he is almost as good as the best OSU player. See, baitmonkey12 is a huge OSU fan, and I am a huge OU fan. We are always arguing about which is the better school, and which has the best athletic program. Obviously, The University of Oklahoma is better in both regards, he just doesn't realize it yet. Quote
Captain Underpants Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 "Athletic" is a pretty broad term HP. Have you forgot wrestling? Basketball? We beat you wagon wheelers up there. Who cares about football if that's the only sport you "won" at! BTW, [move]GO COWBOYS![/move] Quote

Who cares about football if that's the only sport you "won" at! Oh, poor baitmonkey12. I'm (not) sorry to say, but OU owns the basketball series with a record of 121-87. So don't go spoutin' off about how good OSU is unless you know the facts. [move]Boomer Sooner![/move] Quote

Originally named after the atmosphere during a heated wrestling dual between the two schools (a newspaper writer emerged from Gallagher Hall exclaiming "It's bedlam in there!"), the Oklahoma State team holds a large advantage in the series. The Cowboy wrestling program currently holds an impressive 120-24-9 record against the Sooners. This dominance of the wrestling series between the two universities is a source of great pride for Oklahoma State. [move]GO COWBOYS!!!!!![/move] Quote
