BucketmouthAngler13 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Hey all. I've owned Age of Empires 2 for years, but have just started playing it online. Just wondering, Does anyone here have the game? If so we could play eachother. PM me if you want to do battle Matt Quote
Pond-Pro Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I dont play Age of Empires, but I do play Rune Scape. A lot of my friends are starting to play World of Warcraft, but that is 15 bucks a month. I can play runescape for free (non-member). BTW: I think its ok to post pretty much anything on this board. Other. Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 1 word WoW (Word of Warcraft). It is worth the 15bucks a month. Runescape is like a 8 pixel game really... Age of Empires 2 look pretty good but I never played it. And for those of you that are mathematical geniuses you might want to try Astonia. Quote

JiggaMan512 Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 (Bucketmouth i apoligize if this seems alittle high jacking but its not worth making a whole new thread about) How does the whole World of Warcraft deal work? do you have to buy the game at the store? (if so, how much $$?) or do you download it and they just charge you montly for their "service"? Quote

Tom Bass Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Brush Pile Berry, Buy the game and then when it prompts you regarding play on-line or alone you can select on-line play. I recommend playing alone for a while to get the hang of the game and then going on-line if you want to expand. I used to play Call of Duty, a WWII first person shooter game. On-line you could play others on the COD site or join battle teams or squads for a small fee. There were groups that battled one another and it was very cool but I never really got into it enough to warrant the monthly fees and the upgrades. I had friends that went "whole hog" with this to the point where they funded entire squads for competition. They would compete with others from all over the world in skirmishes and battles. Be advised, this could take up a lot of your time should you become enamoured with it. Tom Quote

(if so, how much $$?) or do you download it and they just charge you montly for their "service"? You buy it for 25$ to download it. The download includes 1 free month. After that month you have to pay 15$ a month to continue. WOW is a great game but hard if you don't have any friends to complete quest with. If you don't wanna pay you can always join a private server but since they are illegal don't complain when you get a letter from the courts. COD is two addicting. You spend 2 hours of your on that game and get no were. I'm addicted to all MMORPG's and RROMPG's and if I am not fishing I am playing them. COD is full of to many hackers though. COD for ps2 is better because there no hackers and it is funner to play on a controller and you get to listen to little 10 year olds curse at you when you stalk kill them. (Only applies if you have a headset and microphone) And how about Warcraft III any one play? Quote
