How many forum members are needed to change line in a reel ?

1 to change the line and post that it has been changed succesfully.

14 to share similar experiences when changing lines and how it could have been changed in a different way.

7 to warn about the hazzards of line changing.

2 to ask " Please explain, what is line ? and please post a picture, thanks ! "

1 moderator to move the thread to the tackle section

2 to discuss about changing the thread to the bass fishing section.

7 to point out the spelling and gramatical errors in the threads related to changing lines.

5 to criticize the "spelling and grammar" critics.

3 to correct the spelling and grammatical errors in the critic.

6 to discuss if the correct term is monofilament or multifilament and another 6 to call idiots the other six.

2 Profesionals in the industry to inform the rest that the proper term is Monofilament or Multifilament depending upon the type of line

15 Knowitalls that say they 've also worked in the industry, that the term Fluorocarcon is absolutely correct but that it has to be differentiated, monofilament can be manufactured with nylon, co or multypolimer and fluorocarbon, multifilament is known as braided and it can be manufactured with dacron or spectra.

12 to tell that the absoulte best line is X brand

14 to tell that it 's virtually imposible to find X brand and that life is so unfair with them .... why preciselly with them ?

2 to explain why X brand is the absolute best

3 to discuss about brand X

3 to tell that you should purchase brand Y, it may be more expensive ....but you still have to purchase it.

1 Jackazz that feels he 's above all telling and bragging: " are you still using mono nylon ? poor mortal, I 'm using impossible to find insanely expensive japanese super extra ultra thin nanotechnological advanced space age multipolymer "

1 to tell the jackazz to take that spool of impossible to find insanely expensive japanese super extra ultra thin nanotechnological advanced space age multipolymer and stuff it up his rear end.

1 moderator to delete the message and send him an e-mail telling to behave himslef or he will be banned from the forum.

2 that get the urge to purchase several spools of that impossible to find insanely expensive japanese super extra ultra thin nanotechnological advanced space age multipolymer and ask where they can find it.

2 to tell that they fish with lines nobody recommends, that they cast great and are resistant ( and one includes pictures of fish he caught with that line, obviously "cosmetically" fixed to mask the condition in which the line was left after fighting a 5 inch bluegill but you can tell the line is in pretty lousy condition )

19 to tell where to find that line that nobody recommends and where you can find it cheaper.

1 to tell that such discission should be moved by the moderator to the buy/sell section of the forum.

11 to say that the thread should reamain the in the bass fishing section because we all use line to fish and it 's a relevant discussion.

36 to debate how 's the best way to change the line, where to buy it, which lines are good and which ones are bad

7 to post the URLs where you can find line and see samples of line.

4 to tell that the URLs are incorrectly written and write them correctly.

3 to that checked those URLs which are relevant to the discussion.

2 to tell that they can 't view files in acrobat format.

1 to tell them to download a free version of Acrobat reader so the can read those files.

3 to tell that they can 't download the acrobat version because their PC has windows 91....and no it 's not wondows 1991, it 's windows 1591, their PC is THAT old.

1 to tell them that they should dump that dinosaur they have as PC and get a new one.

13 to quote all what has been written to the day and then add " Me too ".

6 to tell that they are out of the forum because they just can 't stand all the quoting.

13 to tell that instead of asking something that has been posted over and over again ad nauseum they should use the search engine.

5 to tell that the can 't find the danged search engine

1 to post where to find the search engine

1 to tell that before using the search engine they should look for it in the stickies section where appaerently nobody bothers to check before asking.

Any resemblance of these characters with persons living or dead is purely coincidental.

So Raul, where can I find this insanely expensive japanese super extra ultra thin nanotechnological advanced space age multipolymer " ?

Got any URL's?     Do you use the standard Palomar knot with this kind of line?  Or is there a new knot I must now learn.

Any advice helpful.

Thanks

Actually, it might belong in "Fishing Rods, Reel, Line, etc," but I think "Everything Else" is more appropriate for now.

A little humor for a Friday afternoon is just what the doctor (or veternarian) ordered!

1 guy to call it string, not line.

2 guys to inform that guy that it's called line, not string.

1 guy to make a smart azz remark comparing fishing with braided line to fishing with string.

2 guys to then post  ;D 's

3 guys to then attack the smart azz guy and expend a page and a half on the benefits of braided line.

4 guys then claiming braid sucks and monofilament rules.

1 moderator to jump in and throw a bucket of cold water on everyone.
