Lots of "stuff" to do this winter... since we rarely have more than a day or two in a row of freezing weather, I do the household projects in winter.  I have 2 fences to build, several trees to cut down a re-mod to a set of built in bookcases and a healthy list of smaller "honey-do's" that have been accumulating for a few months.  ...lol

As for fun stuff, I am building myself a few new rods this winter and working on some product development for a side business and general garage "pittling."

I'm always killing spare time by trying to make something.  ...lol

I plan on fixing myself up a nice road and a additonal mountain bike. Right now i'm road-bike-less. :(

I aslo want to earn some $$$ (maybe get a job) to spend at the begining of next season.

Other than that i'd like to prehaps build a small jon/rowboat, but i can only do that if i get wood somehow.

Hopfully the bike selling business will be good this winter. If i can repair then sell 5 bikes by spring, then thats $100 towards my baitmonkey. If i do really good, then  i can sell 10. It all depends on how many bikes i can get at dumps for free, in order to fix up and sell.

1,  Try not to go crazy

2.  Catch up on sleep.  During the warmer months it's hard for me to sleep.  I always feel like I am missing out on something.  Very rarely do I get over 5 hours of sleep.  In the winter that all changes.  8+ a night .....

3.  Before school started this semester I was converting all of my parent's and grand parent's home videos to DVD.  Once school started i had to stop.  It was a VERY time consuming task, but I liked doing it.  I probably try to finish that.

The only things fishing wise I will try to do are:

4.  Build a rod rack

5.  I might dabble with puring some soft plastics.

I'm building a lake house in KY on Lake Barkley. It should be done in January.....I need to get a dock built and figure out how to get some furniture in the house. Then there's figuring out my first fishing boat.....WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!

Thanks a lot, Raul. It was 20 degrees this morning when I got in the car to go to work. You've just made me feel SOOOOOO much better.

Winter Projects:

1.  Organize crankbaits.

2.  Organize spinnerbaits.

3.  Study a number of body of waters that I will fish next year.

4.  Organize plastics, again.

5.  Replaced batteries in flashlights.

6.  Organize items for boat such as towing rope, first aid stuff, anchors, etc.

7.  Have tires, trailer abd trailer lights checked out and wheels greased on trailer.

8.  Organize everything else while watching football games.

I can't wait for it to snow so I can stay home and get some of this done during the week.

Got myself a Lamiglas 7' fly rod blank and I'm turning it into an ultra light spinning rod. I have another 7' Lamiglas blank that will be a spiral wrapped casting rod for a friend. I also have an 8' G-Loomis Back Bounce blank to build myself a swimbait rod. Several rod building projects. I am also going to fabricate a trailer hitch rack for the motorcycle and a rod rack for the RV, gonna be a lot of rods riding to Texas in the spring. I am blessed to have a large heated garage/workshop for winter projects. Winter depresses me, so I will try to get as busy as I can to get through it. I will spend a lot of time dreaming about the Lake Fork trip. Is spring here yet??? ;)

If any of you guys get Bassmaster Magazine then you've probably seen the rod holder project in the Nov issue. I would like to build one or 2 for a friend...
