BucketmouthAngler13 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 If it wasn't for this site, i wouldn't have cought most the fish i did this season. I signed up here on June 27th, almost 130 days ago. And i have to say i learn more here every day than i learn in school. From this site alone, i learned how to use jigs, swimbaits, c-rigs, cast properly, fight fish, work dozens of different types of baits and retrieves, when to use what and where, the best time to fish (anytime) and a million more things. When i first signed up i thought i knew all there was to bass fishing. I was wrong. Every day a learn somthing from here. Why fish see better in the cold, what makes bass slow down in the winter, why this lure should do that, what this rod is best for, the list goes on and on. The astounding selflessness for many members has helped me get through this season. Bolth Muddyman and Flechero sent me rods when mine had broke and i couldn't afford to replace it. To this day these are by far my best rods. Whittler sent me some free baits to try out. Other members offered me superb prices on tackle in the flea market. Several other members offered to give me free tackle. I couldn't thank them enough. I have probaly cought %50 of my bass this season on those rods. Whittlers crankbaits are some of my faverite and are very productive. Other people have given me pricless tips on bass fishing. The other day LBH tought me how to make a crawfish trap out of rocks. He always answers any questions i have about fishing. You staff have no idea how much this site helps me and many others. If you are a guest and you are reading this, why havn't you signed up yet?! This IS the best bass fishing site on the web. Becuase of the people that run and partake in the forums. Not becuase of the nice tan background, but becuase of the people who put that background there. Not becuase of all the information, but becuase of the people who give it too you. Glenn, LBH, RW, and Fivebasslimit, You guys run the greatest site ever made! Thank you BassResource.com! Quote
