huskertko Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Does anyone have any suggestions for an all in one package to manage and edit photos and music, and edit and create DVD's. I like the looks of Roxio Easy Media 9 so if anyone has any input on this subject that would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Quote
fishbear Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I am looking for the same thing myself.. Quote
Super User Alpster Posted October 26, 2006 Super User Posted October 26, 2006 Pinnacle Studio Plus is very powerfull and easy to use. It costs about $100 on line. I use and like it a lot. Ronnie Quote

Ronnie I have that as well it like it OK. You have to have a pretty powerful computer though to run the program properly. As far as pictures go, there is a GREAT program you can download from Google (for free) ...... Picasa2. Quote
huskertko Posted October 27, 2006 Author Posted October 27, 2006 Thanks, I have used the free downloads and haven't found one that I like, besides I kinda want to get one package that does it all instead of having one for each. Quote
jb_from_texas Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 well i hate to say it but buy a Mac. there are programs out there for PC's and they will probably do what you need but if you want the wiz bang stuff, it will run on a mac...and it comes installed with the machine. no needed extra $$ spent. Top Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I know this really isn't on track with the thread so sorry... but I don't know why... but all my GOOD graphics work has been done on an APPLE with Adobe Photoshop... the plugins for Apple are much more robust than for a Windows based PC.. and I don't understand why... if you really want to get into graphics you really should invest in an Apple, most likely Photoshop, and as big of a Tablet as you can afford and they aren't too expensive as when I was doing graphics work... but if you can afford it... Adobe Photoshop is the route... even on a PC it will do amazing things... AL Quote
huskertko Posted October 27, 2006 Author Posted October 27, 2006 Its not really that I want to get into high level graphics and such, I am looking for something to turn video recordings and pictures of the kiddos into DVD to send to grandma and grandpa in Phoenix and Iowa City. Quote
