The Walking Worm

I remember seeing commmercials for the "Walking Worm" when I was younger but never had a chance to try out what appeared to be a gimmick. Has anyone ever tried these baits? It seems they died out like most "As Seen On Tv" items.

No I dont want to try them, I was just curious if anyone ever caught a fish on them. You know they must not be good when the spokesman appears on everyone elses "As Seen On TV" lure commercials.
