Heading to Clear lake in a couple weeks and was wanting to throw some swimbaits.  I do not throw swimbaits hardly ever, so was hoping for some opinions on what brand and color pattern of swimmers to try.  Thanks.

Thanks.  I was looking at a couple similar baits on Tacklewareouse.  I will check these out.  I have only been down there once before, and I remember them having a pretty good swimbait selection at a couple of tackle stores by the lake.  I might just wait to get down there to buy a couple.

I don't know anything about the hitch down their.  We do not have them up here.  Is that color pattern still a viable option, or do they change color a bit later in the year.  I know Velvick won that event in the spring.

An osprey top hook talon is another good option at clear lake. Light hitch is the best color for swimbaits at clear lake hands down. Dark hitch works well too, but those are the only 2 colors you need.
