huntnful1 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Has anyone in california been catching any bass on topwater yet. I have been throwing it every now and then just hoping for a blowup but nothing yet. Just wondering if anyone was getting em on topwater and what your weather conditions have been and what topwater you are catching them on if you are catching em. Quote
chris fenk Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I was catching them in feb on the PUNKER! I am killing them right now on topwater! Quote
huntnful1 Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 I just found a pond that is like 2 feet deep and full of bass and I hammered them on topwater over any weeds or structures. I love topwater Quote
cabullwinkle Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I have not had much luck yet throwing top water. The majority of the fish I have caught this year have been on jigs. Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I've found, at least for me, that the top water bite is just starting to get good and it will only get better. Quote
