IDbasser Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Have you heard about or have your new sticker yet? The invasive species sticker What a load a crap, just another way to suck more money out of us. Here is the link if you haven't. http://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/idahoinvasivespeciesfund.aspx Quote
baterista_dan Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I'm ticked about this. So do we have to permanently get two stickers? Why not just combine them and save a ton on the admin costs? Quote
Big Fish Rice Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 IDBasser, I'm from Spokane and I talked to a woman at the DOL (where I bought my fishing license) and she told me that Washington State will most likely follow Idaho with this law, potentially next year. Couldn't say that I'm surprised! Quote
IDbasser Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 You will have to have 2 separate stickers, but only one of the new one to be put on the left side of the boat next to the registration sticker. It is like buying a federal waterfowl stamp, you just buy a sticker and put it on the boat, not specific to any registration numbers. The only place to get the stamp is in Boise, or online. There has not been any publicizing of the stcker either. I was talking to one of the marine deputies here the other night, and he did not know about the sticker yet. It is a $57 fine if you don't have one. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted May 21, 2009 Super User Posted May 21, 2009 Aquatic hitchhiking species fears are overblown. Sounds like more government crap to me. Sad that it's gone to Idaho now even. Quote
