IDBasser,

I'm from Spokane and I talked to a woman at the DOL (where I bought my fishing license) and she told me that Washington State will most likely follow Idaho with this law, potentially next year.

Couldn't say that I'm surprised!

You will have to have 2 separate stickers, but only one of the new one to be put on the left side of the boat next to the registration sticker.  It is like buying a federal waterfowl stamp, you just buy a sticker and put it on the boat, not specific to any registration numbers.  The only place to get the stamp is in Boise, or online.  There has not been any publicizing of the stcker either.  I was talking to one of the marine deputies here the other night, and he did not know about the sticker yet.  It is a $57 fine if you don't have one.

Aquatic hitchhiking species fears are overblown. Sounds like more government crap to me. Sad that it's gone to Idaho now even.
