I've been getting antsy to get the boat out so have been driving to a number of local Spokane lakes. Unfortunately all a still covered in ice. That includes Liberty, Medical Lake and all others near there, the South end of Coeur d'Alene, etc. You get the picture. However, the Spokane river is open in some parts. You might try plastic worm type gear fished fished slow for smallies.

thats a bummer!!!! I didnt think liberty would still be iced over  :'( I'll have to find something else to do now :-[
