I have read a lot about dingers on this forum. I fish with Senkos but they are expensive as heck and last for only 1 or 2 fish. Are the dingers as effective? I have tried many of the other senko like baits and they are ok but just don't have the same action.

It seems a lot of people like these dingers and they are cheap!!! So how do they compare?

Different baits with different fall rates.  The Senko is heavier and has a faster rate of fall.  The dinger is lighter and therefore falls slower.  The only other stickbait I stock besides Senkos is the bumble bee swirl Dinger, which I throw generally throw shallow.   I think of the Dinger as more of a finesse stickbait, and the Senko as a reaction stickbait (do-nothing reaction softbait?!  Yep!  It's the wiggle!)

What Brent is trying to tell you without sounding pushy is that if you click on the "***" banner here, you'll find a great senko replacement called the ***.  You get 50 for 10 bucks ;)  Softer than a dinger but won't tear like a senko.

Do they work?

I love the bumble bee Yum Dingers.  I actually prefer them over the Senko.  They have that nice pocket for the hook to be rigged into and I swear they have better falling action than the Senko.   They fall slower and get better vibration in the rear.

In the summer I killed with them in weedy areas in slightly murky water.

I've used Yum Dingers successfully, but it's impossible (at least for me) to say whether they're better or worse than any of the million other similar baits.

However, you should be able to make them last for more than 1 or 2 fish. For example, using a 5" bait, after the nose tears, cut off 1/4" and rerig. You can do this four times and still end up with a 4" bait. You can also rig from the other end of the bait.

Nice video LBH, looks like you stick with wacky rigged worms a lot! I'm looking forward to buying some *** from ***. However, their shipping kills me. Unless I buy in bulk, it's cheaper to buy Senko's.

No sir, thats a very good deal. I wasn't putting *** down at all. Just saying I have no need for 150 or 700 worms! At most I buy 3 packs at a time, and when 2 packs cost about as much as shipping, I'm better off to buy directly from a store. If I could buy from you in a way that would benefit both me and my wallet, I promise I'd buy from you! As you yourself may have experienced, college students don't always have an abundance of money!  ;)

i can get 150 , 5" sticks in a 5.95 envelope, and almost 700 of them in a 9.95 box. Doesn't sound too excessive does it?

Well I just ordered 100 from you so I am pumped to try them. I will be sure to send you the pics of any trophies caught. Thanks!!

So it would be smarter just to fit everything into that 23 dollar box? I'll hit ya up later. I hope to catch a fish before i buy anymore.

they are cheaper and work pretty well when you are workin a hot dink bite or goin for numbers or something.  I wouldn't suggest them if you are trying to target larger bass though.  Go with a jig! they last and always work
