Super User BrianinMD Posted March 9, 2011 Super User Posted March 9, 2011 Going to Lake Anna this saturday for the first time, heading out at High Point Marina. Anyone been out there recently have any suggestions to get me started. With the rains coming tomorrow not sure how the fish in this lake will react. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 9, 2011 Super User Posted March 9, 2011 Backs of creeks. Look for clean water. Look for warmest water you can find. Moving baits. Quote
dhami013 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Rain has started tonight and there should be about 3" before it's through. If you make it out there, post some pics. Quote

Super User BrianinMD Posted March 13, 2011 Author Super User Posted March 13, 2011 Made it out, after some electrical issues with the boat. Ended to the day with each of us catching one bass. Hellbenderman (on BR) got a 5lb 15oz LM on a jig, mine was only about 12.5in skipping a sliderhead finesse worm under a dock. Water color was not bad at all, but got very windy on the main lake. Super User Sam Posted March 13, 2011 Super User Posted March 13, 2011 One Fish Anna strikes again!!!! ;D ;D ;D Quote
Bigbarge50 Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 When that one fish is 5lbs tough to complain about that. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted March 14, 2011 Author Super User Posted March 14, 2011 With all the problems we had during the day and getting home I can not complain. My fish was small but was happy to get that one. Fortunately fishing with Hellbenderman is always a blast, having a partner like that makes up for a lack of fish. There was a tourney going out of High Point marina that morning and a big fish tourney out of another marina but haven't heard anything about how they did. Quote
