This past weekend, the Florida Bass Paddlers hosted their first event near Lake Osborne. It was a chilly morning, but turned out to be a beautiful day. 20 anglers showed up, and I will let the pictures speak for themselves:

Let me first thank everyone for their kind words...and answer a few questions as well. It was actually just a get together, however we are looking to possibly host a tournament sometime in April. As far as the area in the third picture, about half of the fish caught were caught in this area, mostly in the creeks that run off of it The last picture is the fish I caught on a watermelon red flake Lake Fork Trophy Lures hyper rig, and I also know that the bigger fish were caught on black lizards, as well as white spinnerbaits. Soft plastics seemed to be the key on this day.Also...as far as the last picture looking like a magazine shot...there could be two reasons for that. One...My GQ look??? :-/...maybe not! Actually, one of the anglers fishing with us is also a photographer.
