I have decided to give Toho a shot tomorrow (Thursday).  Anybody been there lately?  Any suggestions?  I will launch out of the ramp in Kissimmee.

I think you're going to have a lot of company down there. If memory serves me correctly, Thursday is the first day of the Elite Series Southern Open.

2011 Bassmaster Southern Open Division. Jan. 20-22 Lake Tohopekaliga Kissimmee, Fla.

Yup, Thursday is the opening day.  Final practice was today I believe.  It's probably going to be crazy crowded down in that area throughout the week.

Bob,

I was there Sunday and it was not pretty.  There was still a line to launch at 8 am.  If you are dead set on Toho, then at least launch out of Southport.  An then fish the map I sent you starting in Goblets Cove.  We were catching them shallow in clear water.

My old partner Bob Mack won the Extreme last week, I cant tell you where for risk of death, but Ill tell you he was flipping adjacent to spawning grounds.

You can always launch from Southport(as earlier said) or Whaley's Landing off Kissimmee Park Road in St. Cloud.

They were still launching boats at 7:40 as I was driving to work. Launch was at 7.

We stayed away as you all suggested.  I was going on a Thursday to avoid the crowds.  Ha...  Good thing we didn't go down there.
