Super User iceintheveins Posted March 27, 2008 Super User Posted March 27, 2008 I have tons of favorites, but my all time favorite was Rapala's Rattlin Fat Rap, in size 4. The risto rap was a close second, also in size four. d**n them for discontinuing both lures. Quote
flippincrazy Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 All time favorite rebel craw for creek smallies, grew up fishing these! These days bandits are hard to beat. Quote
smallieking Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 i like the bomber model 2A i also like the shallow Shad Rap from rapala for river and creek smallies Quote
Willzx225 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 All Time most productive crankbait would be either a Bandit 200 in Chart/Blue back or a #7 shadrap in Natural shad. Quote
Hawghead Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Wiggle Warts and Bomber Model A/Fat A both in various crawdad patterns for me. Those little Fat A's are murder on Spotted bass at Lake of the Ozarks. Quote
djmax22 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Rick Clunn 2.5 Copper Perch. Awesome crank. Norman DD22 color-Slick. Quote
Sam Bass Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Normans crank baits Tried and true and still producing after all these years in all models. They also do not cost an arm and a leg like most of the Imported ones do. Quote
GobbleDog Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Rapala Super Shad Rap ticking off-shore grass. Quote
rondef Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I have caught my largeset LMBs using the rattle shad bait from BPS. The blue and chrome and black and chrome have been the best producers. I have caught 2 LMBs over 5lbs using these crankbaits. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SceneSevenDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=-90539&scene7Path=BassPro%2f98303%3flayer%3dcomp%26wid%3d500%26hei%3d500%26fmt%3djpeg%26qlt%3d100%2c0%26op_sharpen%3d0%26resMode%3dtrilin%26op_usm%3d0.5%2c1.0%2c0.0%2c0%26iccEmbed%3d0&sourceName=images2%2f98000%2f98303.jpg&type=0&linkEnabled=false Quote
Joel W Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 My favorite Crankbait is a Rapala DT-10 followed by their DT16. Both allow me to really work the bottom bouncing off of and hitting just about everything to induce a strike. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted March 27, 2008 Super User Posted March 27, 2008 My all time favorite crank bait is the strike king pro model series 1 in the ghost color. Quote
jrhennecke Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Either the Bomber Flat A or a Bleedin Shad Rat L Trap. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted March 27, 2008 Super User Posted March 27, 2008 I never met a Shad Rap I didn't like. Falcon Quote
ohiobassmaster93 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 my favorits are the norman fat boy in any color and the rapala dt series i like the bluegill shade in this Quote
Yakfish Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Rapala JSR's in green craw and perch. Baby bass is close behind but the green craw seems to be irresistible with a reeeeeeeal slow retrieve. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted March 27, 2008 Super User Posted March 27, 2008 Bandit 100 = Crayfish pattern RC 1.5 = Bull bream Allen Quote

Scott C Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Excalibur and now Bomber Fat Free Shad series. Fat Free Fingerling or Shad for trolling Fat Free Guppy or Fry for casting in the shallows. all in Citrus Shad, White, or Shad. gonna give craw a shot for smallies. LOVE EM! Quote
gabes Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Storm Wiggle Wart in early spring and Fat BDS2 Lucky Craft in the late spring and fall. Quote
Sinjin Kim Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 By far my B-Switcher 4.0 made by Zipbaits! The Orbit 80SR is also my favorite ripbait. I fish in crystal clear, heavily pressured SoCal reservoirs and these smaller reaction baits consistently catches fish when I fail to produce with traditional Bombers, Normans, Rapalas etc... Quote
