Krzkev Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 It was a little guy, a half pound or so, but a peacock none the less. I was fishing the canal system in RPB. My first one since the freeze out last year. Anyone else getting them in PB county? Quote
SoFl-native Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Wow. That mush have been a hold over from last year. Based on that i would guess there were some left in osbourne too but i havent heard of any. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted December 7, 2010 Super User Posted December 7, 2010 I'm sure there will be more of them up there eventually. I'm honestly surprised you haven't found them already. Peacocks breed and grow relatively quickly. Shouldn't take long before they start making their way north again. We'll see what this cold snap does though. I had water temps in the low 70's yesterday, probably going to be in the high 60's today. Once it hits that 60 degree mark things get ugly for the Peacocks. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted December 8, 2010 Super User Posted December 8, 2010 What I noticed about last years peacock kill was that I only saw larger peacocks floating not small ones, so I did really expect to catch some small ones but I didn't. Quote
