I launched at 7:00, and although the weather was nice out, the wind gusts of 7-10 were enough to maker things a little difficult. With a chance of rain, I decided that I would at least get a few hours on the water. I hooked up early and caught this guy on the Sebile Spin Shad:

After a while, and not much going on, I decided to paddle while trolling a Yo-Zuri lipless crank. Well, to my surprise:

It was tough out there today, and there seemed to be more boats out on a weekday than what I am used to. So, I decided to beach the yak, re-tie some new lures, and use the restroom. While doing my business, something above me was gesturing wildly and wanted me out of his turf:

So I oblige and relocate to the other side of the little island. I was not welcome there either:

I decided to head in as I was beaten badly by the Bass today, but a few casts at the dock yielded more salt to the wound as I caught another baby Bass:

You aren't kidding about the wind.  I wanted to get out earlier today before the winds really picked up, that just didn't happen.  Was going to get out for a little while this afternoon and it was just howling outside.  Wonder what this front is going to do to the fishing....

the wind is your friend. (unless you're in a kayak).

Very Funny! ;D

on another note...Local 7 News just reported that we should expect weather to be in the mid 50's for awhile! >:(

I'm gonna try and fish Carmens trail tomorrow AM at Okeechobee. My Weather Bug app says it's going to be 36deg F at 7:00 tomorrow in Clewiston.
