SnookOne Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I launched at 7:00, and although the weather was nice out, the wind gusts of 7-10 were enough to maker things a little difficult. With a chance of rain, I decided that I would at least get a few hours on the water. I hooked up early and caught this guy on the Sebile Spin Shad: After a while, and not much going on, I decided to paddle while trolling a Yo-Zuri lipless crank. Well, to my surprise: It was tough out there today, and there seemed to be more boats out on a weekday than what I am used to. So, I decided to beach the yak, re-tie some new lures, and use the restroom. While doing my business, something above me was gesturing wildly and wanted me out of his turf: So I oblige and relocate to the other side of the little island. I was not welcome there either: I decided to head in as I was beaten badly by the Bass today, but a few casts at the dock yielded more salt to the wound as I caught another baby Bass: Oh Well...One Day...That lunker will pay me a visit!!! Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted December 2, 2010 Super User Posted December 2, 2010 You aren't kidding about the wind. I wanted to get out earlier today before the winds really picked up, that just didn't happen. Was going to get out for a little while this afternoon and it was just howling outside. Wonder what this front is going to do to the fishing.... Quote
bocabasser Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 the wind is your friend. (unless you're in a kayak). Quote
