aut0 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Locals that I know of: You have myself up by the mall, and a guy ShaneK1990 pm'ed me a couple weeks ago, he said he goes to school at Concord, and rowyourboat's down here somewhere, he said he fishes bluestone river too. I honestly thought Glenwood park was far too overpressured, but if you pulled a citation size fish out of it, it's worth looking into. LOL. As far as my locations, I've been SLAYING on Bluestone River. pics of 2 of them last trip here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1282532220 My buddy and I also frequent Wolf Creek, it's on the VA side. There's actually a problem with a couple guys the game warden's been telling us about, so we fish it often, to try and help out. Not many pigs there, but you'll get tired of pulling the dinks off all day, for sure, which is still kinda fun for guys like me, and the occasional 2+ smallie shows up. I'm still pretty new to "serious" bass fishing, so I go just to learn the "what, where, when, and why" of lures/presentations/etc. The cloudy water seems to kill it for me still, but I'm working on it. Maybe the SWV/SWVA boys will get together some time and share info. Love to see what everybody else is having/not having luck with! Quote
rowyourboat Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 honestly, ive never even heard of this place. where is it? i'll give it a shot one weekend and let you know hoe it goes Quote
WVcrank Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 Route #20 in Glenwood, Near Princeton WV. Its a 55 acre lake, but IMO only half is fishable. There are some nice bass and catfish in there. Good Luck! Quote
