BHThrasher Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Hey guys, I was at Dick's Sports yesterday looking for some new lipless crank baits and came across Voltage lures. They look pretty nice and seem to make a ton of noise. I looked online but couldn't find much information on them. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever used them before. Brendan Quote

Gummybear Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I live in springfield,IL and our local dick's( which is rumored to be closing by the end of summer!) And I have run across them too. they kinda look like Rat-L-traps. I have tried to talk myself into buying one, but I never seem to seal the deal. I will look for more info on them. Be right back....my lord there is not a drop of info on the web. :'( I checked dick's site and googled it, no luck.sorry. I guess just buy one and try it. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted April 5, 2008 Super User Posted April 5, 2008 Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. I was at Dick's the other day, and I didn't see any Voltage lures, now I have to go back and take another look. Falcon Quote
Dean Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Welcome! I was at Dick's last night also, and I happened to notice these lures. They look kinda on the cheap side if you ask me. The hooks looked very low quality and cheap. But, I do recommend Rat-L-Traps, those are excellent baits! Quote
BHThrasher Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 Thanks for the welcome wishes fellas. Im going fishing tomorrow and Ill try the lures out. I live just south of Boston so the water temp is still a little cool and the bass are pretty lazy, but Ill let you know how i make out. Ill try posting some pics of what the lures look like too. Super User Grey Wolf Posted April 5, 2008 Super User Posted April 5, 2008 How much does it cost ? Quote
Super User FishTank Posted April 6, 2008 Super User Posted April 6, 2008 I have seen them at Dicks as well. I would rather purchase a Rat-L-Trap. I was not impressed. Quote
