Where's everyone going to be this weekend?

I'm planing on launching from Leesylvania and heading to Quantico Creek. Going to start on grass edges casting into the thicker stuff with a buzz frog, and alternating with a weightless Senko into the pockets.

If things don't work out there, I'll head over to Mattawomen and try the same pattern in the grass along Marsh Island, and also try a chatterbait or spinnerbait parallel to the grass.

hope you have a serious trolling motor if youre goin anywhere near marsh island. That place is a jungle right now. If you stay in the channel that wraps around marsh island and fish the grass edges you'll be alright but thats about it. I was goin there constantly march thru may then it just got too dang thick there for me esp when the wind is blowing you back into the grass when youre trolling out of that place. Also be careful how you approach there , when you come up from the mouth of mattawman stay to your left in the channel that wraps around the back of the island cuz there are alot of rocks there right in front of marsh island. Buzzbaits are very good right now btw esp in the morning and evening. Usually right around 7:30 the bite gets amazing right up till sunset.
