My guest today was Jim Sattazahn of Fredericksburg, Pa. He was wanting to catch something better than the lil bass his local ponds has. I called this one Kung Fu bassin because he is a 2 nd degree black belt in some martial art. Anyway he caught quiet a few nice fish and claimed that by 8am. he had already had the best fishing day of his life........gotta love that. Most were caught using senkos, rapala husky jersa and DJ's custom baits.

Those are some nice bass. Our northern bros need to experience the quality bass that are here in south florida. That area looks familiar.

Were you fishing the Miami canal near the L67?

Anyone got a report from the Holey lands ? I have not read any reports from there in a while.

Nice pics Capt. What is that monster worm there in that last pic? Dont think I've seen that at the store...

Since you fish the glades a lot as do I, what size fish are you seeing on a consistent basis? For instance I was out at the Alley today and landed over 30 bass, but most were between 1-2lbs. I only had one close to 4lbs and a few around 3lbs. Would you say that is a normal catch in the glades or am I just not catching the big boys? I fish mostly soft plastics, senko, trick worms, etc. I've had a little luck on cranks but not much. Once the sun comes up I've been fishing deeper water and deeper in the pads. Thanks and any other tips are appreciated.

The baits are from

JDscustombaits.

They are big presentation for big bass, the biggest works like a snake.
