West Central Florida Kayak fishing

Having been a member here for a couple of years, I know that most of you folks are "big time" fisherman (meaning, for the most part, you all have mechanically driven boats). Well, I have been recently introduced to kayak bass fishing and absolutely love it. I am wondering if anyone here knows of any SMALLER bodies of water in the west central Florida area that have PUBLIC access for kayaks (boats with 250 hp motors and kayaks don't mix too well). Little out of the way places work for me too (I have a JEEP). Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Been bass fishing from a yak here in s.w. florida for years. Lots of guys meet up to fish Lake Manatee near Brandenton along with the Braden River.  Hillsborough River too. Webb lake is geared for electric motors and canoes only along with Myakka State Park. Tampa bypass canal, Ramp is north of I4 on 301. 

Hillsborough River from the Fowler Ave ramp just west of I75

Saddle Creek Park US 92 just East of Lakeland

Tenoroc FMA - Combee road North of Lakeland

Loyce Carter Park - SR 37 between lakeland and mulberry

These are all idle speed only or no gas motors at all

I have several boats but have more fun and catch more fish from my yak,you are going to love the yak. I live just north of you and fish the ocala forest, lots of ponds there. Go to Google earth and you will find more places to fish then you have time for,also x2 on the kayakbassfishing.com  Hal
