Tirador Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Thought it should be post spawn, will prob look for shell beds, or stacks of staged fish off points if there is much current. anyone know this water this time of year to help me out? C&R ONLY!! Vance Quote
21xd Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 You got it! Deep crankbaits and swim baits. They will always be near the grass. Quote
mrbassky Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I would say most fish will be post spawn by then. It can actually be kinda slow there at that time because thats the time when fish are recovering from the spawn. If you dont do any good you may want to head up the lake where the fish spawn earlier and maybe recovered I would suggest Mud Creek. Quote
Tirador Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 21xd & mrbassky, thanks for the reply! might try up river, and have had luck at Lake Fork w/swim baits this time of year. Went to Guntersville last Oct. but know everything is dif. now. Thanks again! Vance Quote
