Super User Matt Fly Posted December 29, 2006 Super User Posted December 29, 2006 Gonna be some one coming behind me and asking about GYCB's, Culprits, Gene Larews, Reaction Innovations, Lake Fork Tackle, and others. I myself like different worms for different lakes. majority would be zoom and Berkley power worms. Matt. Quote
sregsvsrt Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I love Berkley Power Worms when it's raining or shortly after. Quote
Super User Raul Posted December 29, 2006 Super User Posted December 29, 2006 THE BEST is a highly subjective appreciation so the best soft plastics depends greatly and varies from individual to individual, if yours is big bites good for you, but don 't try to sell me the idea. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I didnt answer I like Zoom a lot but as much as Manns and they werent on the list Senko type baits: Barl;ows,BPS and Allure knock offs for me Quote
The_Natural Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 There is no best as far as fish catching ability is concerned, because as stated there are conditions in which each brand will excel. I do believe Yamamoto represents the highest quality obtainable in a soft plastic lure based on softness, salt content, color selection, quality control, and consistency. Quote
BASS fisherman Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I don't see YUM or GYCB on the list, so I didn't vote either. Quote
rodrick williams Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I caught my biggest bass off a berkeley gulp! crawbug in a natural crawbug color. they don't sell them at walmart anymore................. > :'( Quote

You forgot highest obtainable price too. Just bought my first pack of Fat Ika's...$7.49 for 10. Its cool though, I wanna see 'em work their magic. Wayne Quote
Rattlinrogue Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I voted Zoom because I use them quite alot, but my favorite plastics weren't mentioned. My favorites are Strike King Flippin' tubes,Culprit worms,Senkos, FLW Finese worms, and 3X plastic lizards. Quote
Super User Catt Posted December 29, 2006 Super User Posted December 29, 2006 You want the best soft plastic and all you give is 5 choices with two being Berkley? Kind of narrow minded huh! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 29, 2006 Super User Posted December 29, 2006 Hmm... I am not a total stick in the mud, I fish Micro Munch Tackle El Gordo and Mizmo tubes. Otherwise...GYCB. Quote
