Bassin' in SC

Hi, All!  Newbie here!  I was just wondering if any of you are in SC? I am in the SC Lowcountry, and we have had a cold winter indeed!!  Not to mention we even had SNOW!  Anyway, can't wait for the water temps. to rise.  I'm hoping to top double digits this year (8lbs. 2oz-my best). I'll get some pics on here once I start catching.

Not many guys on here from South Carolina much less the low country. I lived in Goose Creek for about 9 years and try to get over once a year to fish Santee Cooper. I love that area but the summers are just to d**n hot.

Around 1972, while in Goose Creek, we got a foot of snow and nothing moved for a few days except for military folks that were accustomed to snow. Thank God it melted fairly fast.

Im in SC. I'm from Jonesville, SC near Union and Spartanburg. But I go to school in Clinton at Presbyterian College, which is a rock skip away from Lake Greenwood.

Im in SC. In Greenville. No point in waiting for the water to warm up. I was out catching tournament limits in january at hartwell!

I am in SC I live in Sumter.  I am about 20 minutes from Lake Marion.  The fishing is better when it warms up, but dont let that stop you from getting out there.  Catch some of the biggest bass this time of the year.  Just have to fish slow.

Although I live right in the very middle of Georgia I will be fishing a couple of border waters this year with the club... first Russell and second Hartwell. Never fished either, and I have only glanced at Hartwell as I passed over it on I-85. Russell I will see for the first time towards the end of this month, when our first two day tournament for the year starts. We will be launching out of Beaver Dam Creek, is that a productive part of the lake this early in the season? I bought a map and that area looks good on paper, as does Coldwater Creek and the Rocky River arm. Am I headed to all the wrong places??

We usually fish Russell every spring. From what I have witnessed Beaverdam creek is as good as any. Seems like all the big cove from Beaverdam on to the dam are good.

We usually fish Russell every spring. From what I have witnessed Beaverdam creek is as good as any. Seems like all the big cove from Beaverdam on to the dam are good.

Anyone ever noticed that beaverdam creek is a good place on ANY lake? Like seriously ive fished alot of lakes and there is normally a Beaverdam Creek and its always a productive place. Strange.
