Patrick Ferguson Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 im still new to bass fishing myself but since nobody else is responding i have had a lot of luck casting out weightless senkos (plastic worms). biggest thing is pay attention to what the fish are telling you if you see them top water try a top water lure if you see them chasing baitfish throw out a crankbait of something resembling a fish. they will tell you what they want to eat you just have to figure it out. I find senko's are a great place to start. as far as lakes what ever you have access to as long as it is decent size i know there are a lot of great ponds in oveido my buddy lives there and catches quite a few.
