BucketBuster Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I am going to be visiting some family in late March in Clermont, FL which is about 30 minutes east of Orlando. Does anyone know of any good bass fishing guide services that you could recommend? Also, what body of water should I fish while I'm down there and what do the fish typically hit on that time of year so I don't fill up the boat with my gear? Thanks for your help. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 31, 2010 Super User Posted January 31, 2010 I would fish Stick Marsh/ Farm 13 with George Welcome: http://imaginationbassin.com/ 8-) Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted January 31, 2010 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted January 31, 2010 Fish Johns Lake in Clermont with capt Tim Fey. I see him at the ramp occasionally and he is always helpfull even though I have not paid him a dime. I have 2 fish over 8 lbs out of that lake and have seen much larger ones weighed in. http://www.bassfishingfl.com/ Quote
FL Knifemaker Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I need to take a ride up to Johns Lake. I've heard good things about that lake over the years. Do you know how the water level is now?? Quote
salmicropterus Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Tim Fey is good from what I've heard. BTW, isn't Clermont to the northwest of Orlando? Up that way, you'd also have the Harris Chain to consider. Agree also on SM/Farm 13 with Mr. Welcome but it's on the other side of Orlando Quote
BucketBuster Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 You're right, Clermont is west of Orlando. Sorry about that. Quote
